Commission Meetings

The Children's Commission meets four times a year. Meetings are held in person or online and are livestreamed and later archived on the Children's Commission YouTube Channel.

A limited number of printed notebooks are available onsite at in-person meetings, and electronic versions of the notebooks are posted online. A PDF of each meeting notebook is provided at the links below; a link to the livestream is also provided at the meeting date and time. Please check this page for meeting materials and updates.

Commission Travel

The Court Improvement Program (CIP) is federally funded and is thereby governed by the reimbursement policies of the Children’s Commission and the Supreme Court of Texas. Reimbursement of expenses incurred during travel to and from a Children’s Commission sponsored/hosted event or meeting must conform to the travel guidelines set out by the Commission. Individuals seeking reimbursement are advised to review the travel guidelines prior to making any travel arrangements in order to ensure that travel expenses can be considered.

A webcast of each full Commission meeting is streamed live on the Children's Commission YouTube Channel. Meeting materials are posted online in a printable format prior to the meeting. Visitors are encouraged to print their own copies as extra copies are limited. Members and guests in need of accommodations are encouraged to contact children@txcourts.gov no later than 48 hours before a scheduled meeting.
